Just a disappointing game in prospect from the off. It would surprise if we had great things to talk about.
Best just to say North led early in the Hawthorn game. From Quarter time onwards it was just deplorable.
They couldn't defend, couldn't score or couldn't connect from the middle. Not much to excite their fans either. A shame given the pre-season hope.
Mind you they were expected to be bottom four. Adelaide were being touted as possible finals contenders.
Their start has been worse if that is possible. Beating Carlton almost seems like a worse nightmare because it shows what is able to be achieved.
Had Essendon kicked straight and not 10.18, the last second decision was not even a factor.
