Trump made successive breaks of 110 and 132 as he opened up a 4-0 lead at the mid-session interval of the evening matches at Berlin's Tempodrom.

Although Un-Nooh fought back to take the next two frames, a fine 135 clearance saw Trump wrap up victory – which also sees him claim the eight-tournament BetVictor Series bonus race prize of £150,000 with an event to spare.

In the afternoon session, defending champion Ali Carter eased into the last eight with a 5-0 victory over Zak Surety.

Four-time world champion John Higgins beat Northern Ireland's Mark Allen 5-2, and will next play Trump for a place in the semi-finals.

China's Si Jiahui is into his second ranking quarter-final of the season after beating compatriot Yuan Sijun 5-3.

Elsewhere in the morning session, Welshman Ryan Day came from behind to beat Belgium's Julien Leclercq 5-2 with a run of five half-centuries and goes on to play Si.

In the quarter-finals, Carter will play Sam Craigie, who beat Xu Si in a last-frame decider.

Kyren Wilson edged out Australian Neil Robertson 5-3 and will go on to meet Fan Zhengyi, who beat Tom Ford by the same scoreline.
