Regardless of the continent or the sport, Australian Paralympic star Lauren Parker keeps winning.

A week after claiming three paracycling World Cup victories in Belgium, Parker extended her paratriathlon winning streak to 15 at the world series round in Yokohama, Japan.

It shows Parker remains on target for her ambitious goal of gold medals in the two sports at the Paris Paralympics.

She claimed silver in paratriathlon at the Tokyo Games in 2021, narrowly beaten by American rival Kendall Gretsch in the PTWC category.

Parker has since doubled up in paracycling ahead of Paris.

Gretsch was fourth in Yokohama as Parker won by one minute 25 seconds, beating Canadian Leanne Taylor, who took silver ahead of Brazil's Jessica Ferreira in a photo finish.

Parker has recovered from injury earlier this year to stay on course for the Paris Games.

Fellow Australian Anu Francis took silver in the PTS2 class at Yokohama, as did Justin Godfrey (PTS3), while Thomas Goodman scored his first world para series podium finish with bronze in the PTS2 race.
