Unbeaten NRL newcomers the Dolphins are set to have their depth tested for the first time with hooker Jeremy Marshall-King facing a two-game ban.

Marshall-King headlines the list of charges handed out by the match review committee on Sunday, with Sydney Roosters centre Joseph Suaalii cited but clear to face South Sydney next Friday.

Suaalii escaped with a $3000 fine for his late shot on Warriors fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klosktad in the Roosters' 20-12 win on Saturday.

There was no such luck for Marshall-King following his hip-drop tackle on Canberra forward Corey Horsburgh.

Marshall-King could be handed a further one-match ban if he contests his grade-two charge.

Kodi Nikorima is the most likely alternative option at No. 9 when the Dolphins attempt to improve on their 2-0 start to their inaugural season against Newcastle on Friday.

Dolphins lock Tom Gilbert escaped with a $3000 fine for making dangerous contact on Raiders prop Pasami Saulo, while halfback Sean O'Sullivan, who was sinbinned in Saturday's match, wasn't even cited for a late hit on Corey Harawira-Naera.

Canterbury's Viliame Kikau will be able to tackle Wests Tigers on Sunday week after receiving a $3000 fine for tripping Melbourne winger Will Warbrick.
