Fresh from plundering last week’s two-year-old features for Tulloch Lodge, jockey Tim Clark turns his attention to adding Trunk to the stable’s burgeoning list of juvenile winners in Saturday’s $2m Inglis Millennium (1100m) at Randwick.

Acromantula represents the Pearce stable in the Listed Carlyon Stakes (1000m) at Moonee Valley on Saturday and the confidence levels are high that their speedy sprinter has made improvement from a top Melbourne debut.

Acromantula is weighted to turn the tables on his rivals from a recent Moonee Valley meeting.

Sweet Ride will be out to enhance his Moonee Valley record when he steps out in the Carlyon Stakes.

The feature of the day saw some progressive sprinters clash and it was Sweet Ride ($4) who came out on top in the Benchmark 100 Steveos Scamper (1000m), scoring by a head over Omni Man ($2.40F).
