The Beholder Mile for f&m was the Gr 1 feature and it went to A Mo Reay 8/1 for Brad Cox and Flavian Prat.  Favourite Fun To Dream was second and Midnight Memories claimed the third money.

At Oaklawn Park the Azeri Gr 2 saw Secret Oath dfeat Clairiere by 2 ¼ lengths with Interstatedaydream third.

Tampa Bay was the scene of some very competitive racing with Shantisara and the Argentinian Scottish Star having a great battle in the final furlong of the Hillsborough Gr 2 until Shantisara edged away at the line.  Rougir was 5th.

There was another great finish in the Florida Oaks between Mission of Joy and Alpha Bella with the lead going back and forth between them until finally Mission of Joy got there first.  Juniper's Moon was third placed.

We have now seen another very good Derby contender from Tod Pletcher's barn with Tapit Trice who outran the opposition in the Tampa Bay Derby.  It wasn't as overpowering as Forte's win but it was a good win and there looked like there was plenty of opportunity for improvement.  Classic Carwash 13/1 was second and Classic Legacy third.
