Caulfield Tips

Wortel

Maybe I should put my name in the heading?

Nah who cares, threads shouldn't be so personalised. I just want to post my tips.

Everybody is welcome to post tips here too.

Internet forums should be a place where public discussion is encouraged.

1. 8 Old Jock
2. 7 Starry Eyed
3. 1 Denman
4. 4 Panipique
5. 5 Beneteau
6. 9 Irish Lights
7. 6 Heart Of Dreams
8. 1 Bird Of Fire
9. 5 Hadaaf

Good Luck everybody.
So the first Wimbledon with a roof?

Should be interesting. I know the Fed really liked the roof closed here for the Australian open.

The contenders.

Federer
Nadal
Murray
Djokavic
Del Potro
Soderling

Nadal has injury concerns but I think he will power through it and give us a good performance. I don't he can beat the Fed this time though.

Murray is getting hyped right up for the home crowd and should be right in it after beating Nadal and Fed earlier in the year. Will be good to see him back on grass. I'll be looking for improvement before he can beat Roger.

The Djoker? Not really a fan of this cry baby. After watching his famous walkouts on tube I lost respect.

Del Porto is really on the rise here but I'm not sure he has the experience for this hard slog.

Soderling put in a great performance in the French and I think he is the real improver of the season. I might have a nibble early as he could surprise.

Good Luck to all having a punt for the championship.
I think Caymans will be a good thing 3rd up.

Got no favours stuck in traffic in the Randwick Guineas while Rock Kingdom and Metal Bender got the dream passage on the inside while the field drifted around them.

I just like the way this horse has come back big strong and fast.

He might need some luck but even if McEvoy can butcher them sometimes I still rate him over Corey Brown. The Sandown guineas winning pair reunited.

I'll be looking for $6+
How are they giving out $4 on what is a cert?

He has had an even better year than the last.

His stat sheet is off the scale. He will poll in 20 games.

Get on and keep getting on. Gary Ablett still whinges for free kicks and will not get the votes.

Your AFL team

Wortel

Do we have much AFL supporters here?

Which team do you go for?

Who is your fave player?

I'm a Saints man. We win most of our matches at the Dome and we have skilled players. I enjoy watching them play even when they don't win. Hope we can win some games on the road soon.

Fave player is Jason Gram. He is super talented, just mops up and kicks it out of danger. He can also charge midfield with his great bouncing skills, sometimes going all the way and kicking a goal :)

Ponting wins a toss

YIPEEE!!!

Grand Armee's new career

Wortel

I haven't forgotten this king of the turf.

A quote from Gai's website from his new eventing trainer Tim Boland.

"I have only had him in training for a short time and in that period his ability has really blown me away. In all honesty he has truly amazed me."

Good Luck Grand Armee we still love ya :)
