Two-year-old gelding Hostwin Meraki completed a winning treble in successive races for trainer Gary Moore in scoring here over older rivals. He settled in seventh place, one off the rails, before moving up (deep) from the 600m. He then responded to riding in the straight, coming with a late run to hit the front nearing the post. He is now unbeaten in two starts after winning a Maiden Handicap (1200m) at Newcastle on 22 June and looks promising.
