The Brad Widdup-trained filly Dancers staged a really promising effort in winning here on debut. She settled at the tail of the eight-horse field from her outside barrier (8), went widest of all on straightening, and then finished too well to score nicely despite racing a bit greenly in the straight. She looks to have a good future and is a horse to watch.
