The Mick Kent-trained three-year-old Comic Set looks promising now winning two of his three starts. He was ridden patiently and settled in second last place in the nine-horse field before tracking up nicely (wide with cover) from the 700m. He went deep at the home turn, hit the front at the 100m and then went on to score decisively, running the 1500m out well.
