Three-year-old Sir Mask scored a narrow but impressive win on debut. He raced in sixth place, one off the rails before moving up well (three wide) from the 600m. He fanned very deep rounding the home turn and came with a strong late run to grab a short head win in smart time (58.27). He looks very promising. Symphony In Time showed good pace to lead and she looked the winner as she increased her lead coming to the home turn. She was only caught in the last few strides for second, putting up a sound effort. Our Josephina did well running on late from the tail of the field to take third. *ANZ
