Godolphin’s four-year-old Vashka is now the winner of six of his 11 starts and his last five in succession. He was quickly away from his inside barrier (1), went to the lead and set quite a good tempo before moving well clear on passing the 300m. He then went on to win with plenty in hand, scoring by just under two lengths at the post.
