Sweet And Speedy, a daughter of the smart mare Speedy Natalie, improved on her recent debut second at this track three weeks ago to win well here. She drove through from her good barrier (3) to settle outside the leader, the Darley-raced filly Morello. She got the better of that filly on passing the 200m and then went on to score comfortably by a length and a half. It was a strong win and she looks likely to progress to better things. She’s All That raced well on debut. She went back from her wide draw (11) and was at the tail of the field to the home turn. She got a split between runners at the 200m and ran on nicely to grab second nearing the post. Morello led the field until half-way down the straight and held on fairly well to fill the minor placing. *ANZ
