Three-year-old filly Vintage Drop raced in about seventh place, between runners, following a good pace. Glen Boss angled her into the clear on passing the 400m and she came with a good run to hit the lead at the 50m and then went on to win quite comfortably by three quarters of a length. O’Malley, having his first start since his debut win at Tatura on 19 April, remained near the rear of the nine-horse field, wide with cover.
