Always Allison was most impressive winning on debut. She was smartly away and settled nicely outside the leader (Clash Of Clans). She put pressure on that colt nearing the home turn, easily took the lead on straightening and drew away to win decisively by two and a half lengths. She looks a classy filly. Badraan was third on the rails to the home turn, went to second at the 100m and fought on quite well to hold that position to the post without threatening the winner. Clash Of Clans showed good pace, leading the field until turning for home and then held on to take a sound third on debut. The Kris Lees-trained filly Fashion Sniptz went back at the start from a wide barrier (8), remained in second last place to the 800m, and improved (wide) from the 600m. She then came with a late run to finish a good (3 lengths) fourth, also going well on debut. She looks suited to further and is a filly worth watching.
