The Team Hawkes-trained filly Cleopatra’s Glory scored an impressive first up win here when having only her second race start. She began well but was eased to settle back in sixth place in the eight-horse field, behind a good tempo. She went widest of all at the home turn, put in a very good sprint to take the lead at the 50m and then drew clear for a soft win. She looks promising and is a horse to watch.
