Three days after celebrating Too Darn Hot's maiden Australian Group 1 success, Darley confirmed one of its star shuttlers would be returning to its Kelvinside barn for the 2024 breeding season.

Access to the son of Dubawi will come at a significantly greater cost than his previous four seasons, however, with his fee bumped up from $44,000 to $110,000 (inc GST).

Too Darn Hot is leading the race for this year's Champion First-Season Sire award and last Saturday saw his son Broadsiding win the Group 1 Champagne Stakes at Randwick.

He has also produced a Group 1 winner in the Northern Hemisphere thanks to Fallen Angel, winner of last year's Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh in Ireland.

Too Darn Hot is not the most expensive stallion on the Darley roster this year with Sheikh Mohammed's barn led by 11-time Group 1 winner Anamoe, who remains unchanged from his Australian record introductory fee of $121,000, when he covered 148 mares.

Of the others who stand at Kelvinside, only Tom Kitten's sire Harry Angel has had his fee increased, from $33,000 to $38,500, while Bivouac is down from $66,000 to $55,000, the same as Pinatubo, who remains unchanged.

Native Trail, a dual Group 1-winning two-year-old by Oasis Dream, and Frankel's Group 1 winner Triple Time are the new additions to the Kelvinside roster with their fee set at $27,500 and $22,000 respectively.

Darley last week announced that this year's Newmarket Handicap winner Cylinder would be taking up residence at its Northwood Park farm in Seymour, with his introductory fee set at $44,000, where he will be joined by another Group 1-winning freshman.

Golden Mile, Astern's 2022 Caulfield Guineas winner, will not race on at five and will stand for $16,500.

Anamoe's sire Street Boss heads the Seymour roster at an unchanged fee of $66,000, while Blue Point is also unchanged at $44,000.
