Just one change was made to the field that lined up in the 4YO Classic earlier this month, with Rubin's Plight replacing Street Hawk, who wasn't nominated for the race.

Goodfellaz and Brickies Dream were named as the two emergencies.

Soho Dow Jones, who finished a luckless 10th in the 4YO Classic, drew barrier one for the event, with trainer Kim Prentice looking for his first win in the race since 2016.

Wonderful To Fly, who will be out to become the first horse since Ana Malak in 2018 to win the 4YO Classic and Golden Nugget in the same year, drew barrier six, while fellow mare Taking The Miki will also have a tough task to overcome barrier seven.

Tricky Miki, who will be looking to add the Golden Nugget to his Golden Slipper and WA Derby triumphs, drew kindly in barrier three.

Sydney visitor My Ultimate Ronnie has another tricky task in front of him from barrier 12, with Hoppy's Way and Alcopony joining him on the back line.

Trainer Gary Hall Snr's quest for a third Golden Nugget win was made tougher when You're So Fine drew barrier eight.
