Considered the Riverina's premier hotel destination, the Mantra Albury has partnered with HRNSW for next week's fourth-leg of the hugely popular FREE Carnival of Cups series.

With the February 16 race meeting to be headlined by Australian music royalty You Am I, The Whitlams and Sarah McLeod, supported by emerging artists Robbie Mortimer and PlusOne, Mantra Albury has jumped on board as the official hotel partner for the event.

"What a wonderful addition to the Carnival of Cups to have the Mantra Albury joining us for what promises to be one of the most memorable nights the Riverina has ever seen." HRNSW Chief Executive Peter Buckman said.

"It's a great fit for this event – first-class entertainment and five-star facilities. It's a perfect match for an event that just continues to develop and evolve as we get closer to February 16."

The partnership furthers the growing corporate register being built by Harness Racing NSW in towns and cities across the state through the revamped Carnival of Cups concept.

HRNSW has worked closely with local Councils, emergency services and major industry in each host location, while Tribe Breweries and Mortimers Wines have followed the itinerary as official partners and suppliers.

"What we've tried to do from the onset is not only bring great events to these towns and rejuvenate community entertainment offerings, but also create solid relationships with local businesses that can be regular suppliers and partners for both Harness Racing NSW and our clubs," Mr Buckman said.

"Whether it be through the hiring of marquees and furniture to food and beverages and the engagement of local workforces for things like catering, hospitality, security and traffic management, the Carnival of Cups has already created great opportunities in these towns and stimulated local economies.

"And that's without even mentioning the number of visitors that have followed the schedule and bought accommodation, shopped in restaurants and cafes, put fuel in their cars and walked away with wonderful memories that they'll go and tell others about and encourage others to attend down the track."

More than 12,000 people have attended the first three Carnival of Cups events in Cowra, Young and Tamworth, with Albury expected to be the biggest of them all. The Carnival of Cups schedule concludes in Goulburn on 28 April.
