The winner Mr Professor started at 33/1,second Lattam at 16/1 and third Navagio 22/1 so that people who had that trifecta have probably earned enough to retire now.  

There were some excuses for our selections – Awaal was scratched, Chazzesmee who started favourite after that was found to be lame in the left hind after the race and Migration refused to race.

Liberty Lane  weakened so no real excuse.
