A Valiant Al-Rashidya winner

At Meydan on Friday it was Godolphin's Valiant Prince who took out the G2.

That was from the Appleby yard with James Doyle on board in a good race where Valiant Prince got the better of Saeed bin Suroor's Dubai Future and favourite stablemate Ottoman Fleet.

Mikael Barzalona persuaded trainer bin Ghadayer to run Tiger Nation in the 2000 Guineas Trial and the horse led all the way to the post to justify Barzalona's request.  One of the South Americans Es-Unico was 1 ¼ lengths away in second with Sharp Army 11/1 talking the third money.
