The Nakayama one is the American Jockey Club Cup over 2200m.  Gaia Force is on evens with Lemaire riding and looks like the one to beat.  Challenges come from Epiphany on 5.8 with Tosaka-san riding, Echt on 5.9 for K. Tanaka and North Bridge on 8.9 the ride of Iwata-Y, or the father!

Interesting to note that there are two runners here by Epiphaneia out of a Deep Impact mare – one is Epiphany and the other is Aristoteles who used to be a very good horse but seems somehow to have lost his way – may have had injury problems.  Anyhow if you fancy him as a roughie he's on 48.8!

At Chukyo the Tokai TV Hai Tokai Stakes is over 1800m on the dirt.  Hagina Alegrias has a C&D here and a win over 1900m plus an 1800m win at Hanshin so he's favourite on 3.0. Promised Warrior is on 4.4 and will be ridden by visiting jockey Murzabayev who has been doing very well on his Japan season, and Hayabuso Nandekun is on 7.5.
