International Jockeys Challenge at Riyadh Friday

This is a great exercise for our imagination as we know virtually nothing about these horses except for one race.

The first race is over 1600m on dirt and here the pin landed on Murzabayez's 5yo mare Haaty, then Tho Al Atlaal a 4yo colt with last year's winner Caitlin Jones and then on a 5yo entire Abo Hadid with Japanese jockey Yuga Kawada on board.

The second (actually race 3 on the card) is over 1400m on the dirt for 3yos.  Qabooseyah represents the home team in the form of Naif Alanzi;  Cardano will be in the hands of Joao Moreira and the filly Ebtessaar will have Spanish jockey Victoria Alonso riding.

Race 5 is over 1200m on turf for 4y+ and here we have the overseas horses to the fore.  Groom has a good draw and the 4y colt will be ridden by Kawada.  Il Bandito is a 6yo gelding and will be ridden by Delphine Santiago and another 6yo gelding Expressionist could feature with American jockey Luis Saez on board.

The last (which is race 6) is for 4y+ over 2100m turf, and will have Murzabayev on Wink of an Eye.  Moreira rides Caribeno and Dettori General Lee.
