Credit to all the Palace fans who have purchased a ticket for Monday's fixture. Genuinely, credit to you all.

You could have planned a nice evening at the Boxpark. You could have taken a stroll around Coombe Wood. Hell, Love Island is on. You could've stayed home and watched that.

But no. You decided to spend your hard-earned money on watching your beloved club suffer their latest disappointment.

I know what you're thinking. Since when have we become so confident in Chelsea's abilities?

In truth, it's less about Chelsa and more about numbers. Crystal Palace have lost 13 straight games against the Blues – 12 of those have come in the Premier League.

Chelsea have never won 13 straight PL games against a single opponent and that historic moment is firmly on the cards.

Palace have lost three of their last four games, conceding 12 goals in the process. To compound their situation even further, the Eagles have only won two of their last 14 matches across all competitions.

Chelsea aren't exactly flying themselves, but their 3-1 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Wednesday was very impressive.

We're backing Mauricio Pochettino to take some pressure off his shoulders with a victory at Selhurst Park.

Chelsea to win the match and over 2.5 goals is the way to go.

Team news

Crystal Palace head into Monday's match without Cheick Doucoure, Rob Holding, Michael Olise, Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi. Joel Ward remains a doubt.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are missing Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Romeo Lavia and Robert Sanchez. Trevoh Chalobah and Levi Colwill are being assessed and could feature.
