Dylan Caboche's in-form galloper Delightful Shecky will be chasing three wins in succession but will now have to overcome the extreme outside barrier in the 1200m feature.

"My first thought was heart break to be fair,'' Caboche said.

Delightful Shecky couldn't have been more impressive in winning his two runs since resuming, scoring a 2.7 length win first-up at Morphettville before recording a 1.7 length win on the Parks last time out.

Caboche said he can't fault the horse and was buoyed following a quick chat to the horse's rider Todd Pannell regarding their chances.

"I spoke to Toddy straight away and he said not to worry about,'' Caboche said.

"It's a nice long straight, one turn, he said the horse is going good enough we just have to back his ability,'' he said.

Nothing would highlight Caboche's training abilities more then a feature win on a big day at Morphettville during the Adelaide Racing Carnival.

"We had this race as the plan the whole way through,'' Caboche said.

"We back dated from the final picking some races out, everything has gone sweet, except the gate!

"We can't fault the horse, we just have to trust the process,'' he said.

Caboche said he was more than happy to sit on the other side of the fence when it comes to Delightful Shecky.

"He can be a little bit of handful pre-race, Todd really gets along with him, it takes the pressure off and I can just watch them do their thing,'' Caboche said.

While he's still in the infancy of this training career Caboche said Delightful Shecky's success had already helped lift his profile with prospective owners.

"If we could snag the race on Saturday, hopefully that can lead to some more owners,'' he added.

"I've had a lot of people from interstate showing interest which is nice to know,'' he said.

Richard and Chantelle Jolly's Jazz Affair will chase his third win in succession in the $105,000 Adelaide in Autumn Series Final (1504m).

Jazz Affair comes off impressive win on the Parks track and draws a middle gate, while another in-form galloper Sir Kingsford will be trying to enhance his profile in the $105,000 Provincial Pathways Final (1800m).

Sir Kingsford was a dominant 4.1 length winner over Bellavardo on the Parks last time and the rise to 1800m should hold no fears given the horse is a dual winner over 2000m.
