It's day one of The Pinnacles on Saturday where we see the fillies take centre stage to kick of what is sure to be a compelling five weekends of racing in Perth.
The Group 3 Champion Filles Stakes (1600m) is the main event of the day but is supported admirably by fellow Group 3 contests in the R.J Peters Stakes (1500m) and the Colonel Reeves (1100m).
For this week's first editon of Pinnacles Pointers we focus on the brave men and women piloting the equine athletes and find out who's got the hot hand heading into the weekend's action.

While the table above shows the two heavyweights of the WA jockey ranks Parnham and Pike booting home winners most consistenly, this does not necessarily provide us with a betting edge (what we all desire to secure).
When taking a look at Expected Wins (EW) in the last month, Parham and Pike are impressively near bang on for the Wins (W):EW ratio, with 13:12.2 (1.07) and 19:19 (1), respectively.
However, when assessing the same statistic for Campbell and Watson a noticeable and significant edge is uncovered with both beating the market at just under 2x - Campbell = 8:4.4 (1.82) & Watson = 7:3.6 (1.94).
Alan Kennedy is the only jockey out of the top five that falls just behind his expected wins, with just the 1 winner from a market expected 1.5 (0.67).
In summary, when looking to back a winner this Saturday at Ascot, the assessed data shows that Holly Doyle and Luke Campbell are providing punters with more for their buck and if you are keen on backing one with either in the saddle, there should be no fear.
