SALE: RACE 9 @ 5:25 PM

OUTBACK ACTION (8) is lightly raced and looks capable of getting to better races. He's yet to miss a place in four starts including two wins over this trip. He resumed a narrow winner last start when odds on getting the better of the handy Realeza and can go close again with added fitness. ELTEECEE (3) ran out an easy winner in town last start when favourite. He looks well placed to make it two on end from a forward position in the run and drawn ideally. BLISTERING (9) impressed at this track last start when going down narrowly to the talented Invincible Caviar when first up. She looms as a danger here with the Blinkers off and fitter. MERE FANCY (14) ran out an easy winner when resuming last time in. Although this trip is short of her best she's worth including in exotics. DANNY'S ST DARCI (6) has plenty of ability on her day and if the rain stays away she can figure with added fitness second up. SELECTIONS: Outback Action looks capable of getting to better races.

PORT MACQUARIE: RACE 1 @ 1:45 PM

DUBLE MEMORY (1) stuck on gamely to just miss last time out, beaten narrowly over 1800m at this track. Gibbons sticks which is a positive sign and if he runs up to his recent form, he should be winning this. OCEAN FLYER (3) got the job done over the top pick last time out but when running over the top of him late. She does meet Duble Memory worse at the weights, but Grant Buckley takes the ride. Will give a big sight once more. SEETHING CHUCK (2) is another who comes through that same race where Ocean Flyer won, finishing 2.6L off the pace. Drawn well today though and he can finish closer. LOVE LOCH (7) has to jump in trip sharply but is fit and worth including. SINGLE BABE (8) drops back into country grade and is worth including. SELECTIONS: Duble Memory looks the one to beat.

SUNSHINE COAST POLY: RACE 7 @ 4:40 PM

MIDNIGHT RAMBLER (2) looked likely fresh up but peaked on his effort when fresh up on this track. He will strip fitter and as a winner second up in the past, he will be tough to be in this. REGAL CONQUEROR (3) has won twice on this track and is seldom far away at this level. He gets the blinkers on for the first time and should be thereabouts. Can win. Last-start winner JAMESATELLI (5) is a player again while LEGEND I AM (1) can improve second up. SELECTIONS: Midnight Rambler for a second-up win.

NORTHAM: RACE 8 @ 7:55 PM (AEDT)

STARALIGN (10) has improved at each of his four runs this prep and looks ready to peak today. Settled handy and battled on gamely to be beaten just 0.6 lengths in the Listed Hannans over 1400m at Kalgoorlie last start. Has a very good record at the mile so on the limit he is the one they have to beat. UTGARD LOKI (3) is back from a 29-week spell but still poses a serious threat. Raced well last prep, highlighted by a win in the rich South West Cup over 2300m at Pinjarra. Trialling impressively so looks ready. DIG DEEP (6) raced on the speed but didn't finish off as hoped at the end of 1400m at Ascot recently. Draws the fence and drops sharply in weight so worth some thought. EYORE WAYZ (7) is going well without winning, including an eye-catching second over 1400m at Ascot last start. Query at the trip but cannot be ruled out. WESTERN TEMPLE (4) failed in the Hannans last time but was racing well before that run. Can bounce back. SELECTIONS: Keen on Staralign in the feature.
