Sandown-Hillside Race 7- He's Heaven

No doubt the winner, Rheinberg, is a promising horse but he's won at very short quotes his past two so we're unlikely to get an opportunity to back him. He's Heaven was a bit of a hidden run here, settling back and wide which, as it often is, was against the pattern of the day. The majority of the races were slow or even and a sprint home late and He's Heaven ran the fastest last 800m of the meeting, getting within two lengths of the winner. I think he's looking for a mile now and a race where he can be put on speed as he has shown in the past. Maybe a Bm70 or Bm78 at The Valley with Carleen claiming down in weight, he might just bob up at big odds.

Warwick Farm Race 1- Les Vampires

This whole race is clearly the one to follow from the card at Warwick Farm, with Encap (who has been a horse to follow here already) again charging home into second. He's bursting to win a race over a bit further but desperately needs to settle closer. Les Vampires on the other hand, effectively threw away his race on debut, racing very greenly around the bend and in the straight after being backed into $1.55. Punters were fairly quick to forget however, drifting him out to $3.50 this time and he made amends with a strong, professional win. The time figure was good and he's going to win plenty more races if he continues what he's doing.
