Three meetings in Japan on Tuesday with racing from Ohi, Kasamatsu and Urawa. We've done the form and picked out our best bets across the day.

Ohi (Tokyo City Keiba) Race 9- #12 Benissimo

Taking a bit of a punt here on Benissimo who is having his first start away from the JRA having come close to knocking off his maiden on several occasions. The colt by Lovely Day has placed eight times from eleven starts and noticeably been right in the market at nine of those starts. That market support looks key here and switching to the easier level here should yield immediate results. It won't be an easy race with #11 Mille Nuits coming off a dominant five length win last start if she's able to repeat the dose.

Kasamatsu Race 6- #1 Yowa Manzokuja

Open race at Kasamatsu but Yowa Manzokuja goes on top having run a much better race last start and signalled she may be ready to break through now. This is a very thin race and although she can run very poorly at times, the horses in this race are all struggling for form and if she runs anywhere near what she did last start she'll win. Barrier 1 should mean she gets a nice trail behind the speed and with every chance in run she can win. #8 Annabelle is the main danger coming off a good second last start and there isn't much between them.

Urawa Race 3- #1 Patwon

Another relatively thin race here and Patwon appeals given he's only had one career start with plenty of improvement to come. A colt by the mighty Lord Kanaloa, he worked to the line fairly on debut at this track and distance, beaten 5.5 lengths and should be much better for the experience. This field is really struggling for form and even if he just runs up to the same level as last start, I think he'll go very close. #4 Lotus Petal looks the main threat having started $4.10 first up and having shown glimpses of talent in his early JRA career.

Urawa Race 10- #3 Takichan Go

Looks a race in two for our last play at Urawa but Takichan Go just gets the nod having returned in very fine style with a strong 1.5 length win first up at this track and distance, able to lead all of the way at a solid tempo out in front. That was within a length of his peak performance which came second up last preparation, again at this track and distance. Those ratings have her narrowly on top from #6 Ryuno Anh who ran second last start but rated very similarly to Takichan Go. I think Takichan Go is better suited at 1400m whereas Ryuno Anh may be better over 1600m and have her on top.
