Having the services of apprentice Margaret Collett and coming out of the Peter Hardacre stable Dual Fuel was still last on the home turn but came away to record her third consecutive win.

The three-year-old gelding Zanthron opened his winning account at start eight when he took out the 1000 metre second race.

Giving Jason Holder a win closer to the top of the city jockey's premiership the Gary and Nichole Searle and Brianna Callanan trained Zanthron was well placed.

The father and daughter training combination of Richard and Chantelle Jolly put their name on the winner's board when Jack's on Ice took out the 1250 metre third race.

Piloted by apprentice Alana Livesey Jack's on Ice showed his opposition a clean pair of heels by leading all the way.

Murray Bridge trainer Sara Rutten brought up her first city winner when her charge Kristobel won the 1300 metre fourth race.

Coming off a last start second the Teagan Voorham guided Kristobel raced in a forward position before going on to win in a close finish.

Richard and Chantelle Jolly landed their second winner for the day when Wild Imagination won the 1400 metre fifth race.

Resuming from a spell the Jake Toeroek guided Wild Imagination led all the way.

Dual Cranbourne trainers Mick Price and Michael Kent junior and their charge Altrust took out the 1400 metre sixth race.

Having the services of Todd Pannell Alrust came from a worse than midfield position to win in another tight finish.

The Parks track provided another close finish when Pearl Adios took out the 1550 metre seventh race.

Giving Jason Holder his second win for the day the Andrew Gluyas prepared Pearl Adios came from a rearward position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Patrons saw another solid finish when El Salto took out the 1000 metre eighth race.

Having the services of Samuel Payne the Garret Lynch-trained El Salto came from well back to win in a tight finish.

The combination of hoop Margaret Collett and trainer Peter Hardacre brought up the second leg of a double when Tahnee Treasure was well placed in taking out the 1400 metre final event.
