Morphettville Parks Races Review on 20th April 2024

Co-trainers Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle drew first blood when there five-year-old charge Magic Max won the 1000 metre opening event on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Having the services of apprentice Rochelle Milnes Magic max came from last on the home turn to meet with success.

Guided to victory by Victorian hoop Alana Kelly Sharma Princess brought up her second win in a row when she took out the 2250 metre second race.

Prepared at Bordertown by Lindsay Cadzow Sharma Princess came from a midfield position to give Cadzow his first winner at headquarters.

Usually favouring on-pace runners the Parks track did a reversal in the first three races when Hoops was the third winner to came from well back with a late run to win the 1950 metre third race.

Prepared at the Flemington stable of Danny O'Brien and having the services of Liam Riordan Hoops showed plenty of dash over the concluding stages.

Hoop Todd Pannell put his name on the winner's riding list when he rode Episodic to a win in the 1250 metre fourth race.

Now a winner of consecutive races the Will Clarken and Niki O'Shea prepared Episodic came from a worse than midfield position to bring up a strong win.
