Talented grey Calypso Reign will try and join his illustrious stablemate Behemoth as a dual winner of the race formerly known as the Spring Stakes at Morphettville on Saturday.

2021 Group 1 Goodwood winner Savatoxl headlines nominations for Saturday’s $150,000 Group 3 Behemoth (formerly Spring) Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville.

David Jolly’s quest for a fourth successive early season Adelaide feature, in the race formerly known as the Spring Stakes, ramped up at the Morphettville trials with the return of last year’s winner Calypso Reign on Friday.

Adelaide sprinter Calypso Reign is set to run first-up in the Australia Stakes at Moonee Valley.

Will Clarken and Niki O’Shea will chase a two state feature race double on Saturday.
