Yes Rex, what AOB would call a very good bread-and-butter horse!
His performance around the World shows just how good a horse Winx is, yet some on here would still lay Winx and insist she is beating goats.

She's beaten some very good ones and some 'goats'. But that applies to all champions.

She's an out and out champion- thats pretty much plain to see. Highland Reel probably won't get the same accolades as he does have a habit of putting in one or two ordinary runs during a campaign.

I still maintain he needs a good gallop as he can take a tug if he doesn't get it and he is much better on top of the ground, as many strong galloping types are.

But although he may not be as good as her and a few others, he certainly is an out and out iron horse, and a horse who brings people through the gates. Got a very good reception when he came back.
