Thorndon Mile & Wellington Cup

The Mile looks a competitive race with queries around a few coming back in distance. Like the look of DIADEME here at $9+. Ran out of puff second up after a long spell with hoof problems, ready to peak here and take her first G1. Wide draw but is a fast beginner iirc and should get the run of the race. Long time since she's carried 55kgs.

Wellington Cup's a mediocre affair. DECORAH's a roughies hope at $14+. A little underdone last time but beat Delveen home and she'd thumped Graphic the week before. GRAPHIC very hard to beat getting out to 2400 and dropping 5kgs in weight. Very good chance of a repeat of last year's win.

Yep, Graphic for me as well. He's right at his peak now and only has 54kg as the winner of this race 12 months ago. Awesome Goal and Perfect Start have chances.

The Thorndon Mile, I'll go with the class in the race. Puccini from Pondarosa Miss.
