For two days I study form prior to a race meeting and yet still do silly things. Filling out the bets on Saturday I tumbled into the hype of 07/07/07 being lucky.

I see in the last in Sydney a horse No14 (2x7) called Savage Sevens. Oh boy is this an omen or what? So I find a lazy $70, put on the nose and I'm lining up to collect.

You know the result - ran seventh beaten seven lengths.

Do any of you accept contracts to put me out of my miserable existence. Boy am I a schmuck.

As of today TVN is back on Austar, Channel 520.
The first week is free but you have to pay $1
extra per month thereafter to continue.

LENNY BEASLEY.

I am wondering if any of you knowlegable punters have any information on this talented jockey.
I have followed his career since his apprenticeship days but I am concerned since his return from a bad fall some time ago.
He used to ride everywhere,even for me at Nowra,but lately seems to have only three or four rides at Sydney Saturdays a few Sydney midweek,never rides under 55ks, does not appear to ride for any particular stable and recently has had to forego mounts due to indisposition.
He is still a young man (around 30 I guess), has always been a strong rider and a very genuine person
So, I am concerned about his general health and perhaps his drive to continue riding.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
