Three-year-old filly Global Dream provided Team-Hawkes with their third winner on the program. She was slowly away and was last early on in the 12-horse field. She then improved to be eighth on the rails but was still giving the leader about seven lengths at the 600m point. James McDonald steered her between runners at the 300m, then got a split at the 200m and finished strongly to win, racing away by a length and a half, proving too good for her older rivals. She is a promising filly and also looks suited to longer than yesterday’s 1400m race. *ANZ
