The Longest Lunch March 13 Hcp
Well Sighted scored his first win in three starts in good fashion, albeit narrowly. He settled midfield, wide with cover, and moved up (deep) rounding the home turn. He challenged nearing the 100m and finished a bit too well to grab a good last-stride win. The favourite Stragun, who was having his first start, began smartly from barrier 9 and settled nicely outside the leader. He went to the front at the 200m, looked the winner when clear at the 100m but was caught on the post for promising second, going well on debut.
