Tashbeeh, after two seconds in four starts as a two-year-old, resumed here with a promising first-up win. He was given time to settled and then travelled comfortably in seventh place on the rails before improving between runners at the 600m. He got a split going to third on straightening, took the lead at the 200m and went on to win with something hand by half a length. He is an improving colt and looks likely to keep progressing. *ANZ
