Murray Bridge Races review on 22nd August 2022

Third time starter Kusu gave his co-trainers Richard and Chantelle Jolly a win in the opening race of 1000 metres at Murray Bridge on Saturday.

Guided to victory by Jale Toeroek Kusu  was well placed and powered home in the straight to bring up his first win.

Lord Bouzeron  landed his second win in succession on the Murray Bridge track when he took out the 2500 metre second race.

Coming out of the Michael Hickmott stable the apprentice Ben Price ridden Lord Bouzeron raced in a forward position before going on to win.

Richard and Chantelle Jolly landed their second winner for the day when Yuri Royale took out the 1600 metre third race.

Bringing up successive wins and giving Jake Toeroek his second win Yuri Royale was another winner to race in a forward position.

Night Of Delight  continued the run of last start winners to be successful when she took out the 1000 metre fourth race.

Prepared at Warrnambool by Tom Dabernig the Dean Holland guided Night of Delight came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Richard and Chantelle Jolly continued their winning streak when Impossible Action landed his first win since April in the 1400 metre fifth race.

Continuing the good run of jockey Jake Toeroek Impossible Action came from a better than midfield position to meet with success.

Coming off a last start second at Murray Bridge Headphones went one better when she took out the 1400 metre sixth race.

Guided to victory by Jason Benbow the Jordan Frew prepared Headphones was well placed and won in a tight photo finish.

Victorian apprentice Carleen Hefel continued her good success rate when she rode Wolflands to a win in the 1000 metre seventh race.

Coming out of the Cranbourne stable of Julian Welsh Wolflands was another winner to be well placed.

The lightly race Maracourt proved too strong for his opponents when eh took out the 1200 metre eighth race.

Trained at Mount Gambier by long-time trainer Michael O'Leary the Jason Holder guided Maracourt came from a rearward position with a strong run in the straight.

Ballarat based trainer Archie Alexander was well pleased with the win of Cheloon in the 1200 metre final event.

Having the services of Dean Holland Cheloon was an all the way winner.
