Morphettville Parks Races Review on 16th October 2022

In form trainer Jon O’Connor landed his eighth winner from his last forty runners when Grey River took out the 1250 metre opening event on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Having the services of Jason Benbow who is carrying everything before him Grey River  was an all the way leader and won convincingly.

The Murray Bridge training combination of Daniel Clarken and Oopy MacGillivray continued their good run when The Map took out the 1950 metre second race.

Coming off a previous start fourth the Jake Toeroek guided The Map settled well in the back half of the field before improving over the latter stages of the event.

After winning the listed Murray Bridge Gold Cup on Agreeable Kayla Crowther landed her second winner in twenty-four hours when Killiako took out the 1250 metre third race.

Being under the care of Philip Stokes the well placed Killiako registered her first win at her third start.

Phillip Stokes landed the second leg of a running double when Neodium took out the 1550 metre fourth race.

Having the services of apprentice Ellis Wong Neodium led all the way to register his sixth win from sixteen starts.

East Indiaman landed his second successive race when he won the 1400 metre fifth race.

Giving his trainer Darren McLeod his second career win the Teagan Voorham guided East Indiaman led all the way.

Jake Toeroek brought up his second winner for the day when Pudding took out the 1300 metre sixth race.

Coming out of the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable Pudding came from a rearward position with a sharp run over the concluding stages.

Resuming from a spell the Chris Beig prepared Diamonds took out the 1000 metre seventh race.

Guided to victory by Callum Murray Diamonds settled in a midfield position but was soon racing one off the pace before going on to win.

Trainer Chris Beig landed the second leg of a running double when Chosen Blonde  took out the 1000 metre eighth race.

Having her second run after a spell the Jason Holder guided Chosen Blonde was in the first two throughout the event.

Trainer Gordon Richards celebrated his 71st birthday with his co-trainer Damian Moyle when My Khalifa took out the 1300 metre final event.

Having the services of apprentice Lachlan Neindorf My Khalifa came from near last with a withering run late in the event.
