Morphettville Races Review on 27th November 2022

Co-trainers Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle continued their good run when the three-year-old took out the opening event of 1000 metre at Morphettville on Saturday.

Having the services of apprentice Lachlan Neindorf and coming off a last start seventh Zufasta  came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Jockey Kayla Crowther maintained her good strike rate from Friday when she rode a double at Port Lincoln , winning on Oh Mo in the 1600 metre second race.

Trained at Murray Bridge by Sam Burford Oh Mo came from a rearward position to bring up his seventh won from forty-four starts.

Strathalbyn trainer Emma Hubbard had reason to celebrate when she brought up her first city winner Fly the Line the winner of the 1100 metre third race.

Piloted to victory by Callum Murray Fly the Line came rom a rearward position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Coming off a previous start second Sebonna kept up his good from when he took out the 2500 metre fourth race.

Prepared by Peter Hardacre and having services of Melbourne apprentice Lachlan McNeil Sebonna came from second to last on the home turn to win.

Trainer Sam Burford landed his first metropolitan double when The Magistrate was successful in the 1050 metre fifth race.

Ridden by apprentice Teagan Voorham The Magistrate began well before coming from the centre of the track to gain victory.

The training combination of Richard and Chantelle Jolly brought up their twelveth successive Saturday winner when Wild Imagination took out the 1600 metre sixth race.

Guided to victory by Jake Toeroek Wild Imagination was well placed in winning her first race in over twelve months.

Apprentice Ellis Wong brought up another winner when Dancing Stream took out the 1200 metre seventh race.

Coming out of the Searle/Calahan stable at Gawler Dancing Stream came from a better than midfield position to bring up win number three from fifteen starts.

Apprentice Teagan Voorham landed her first black type winner when she guided Diamonds to victory as part of a double in the 1200 metre listed City of Marion Stakes which was run over 1200 metres.

Being under the care of Chris Beig Diamonds came from last with a powerful run over the concluding stages of the event.

Aston Rapova landed his second win in a row at Morphettville when he took out the 1100 metre final event.

Having the services of Melbourne apprentice Madison Lloyd the Wayne Francis and Glen Kent reared Aston Rapova came from last with a withering run late in the event.
