Morphettville Parks Races Review on 10th June 2023

Jason Holder made it four winning rides in three days when Walk Like an Angel won the 1000 metre opening race on the Parks rack at Morphettville on Saturday.

Opening her winning account at start two the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas trained filly led all the way.

Having its second run after a spell and trained at Gawler by Alan Bain, Metro Legend  took out the 1250 metre second race.

Piloted to victory by apprentice Jacob Opperman Metro Legend led all the way.

The three-year-old gelding Cold Case landed his second win from seven starts when he took out the 1300 metre third race.

Ridden to victory by Jake Toeroek, the Richard and Chantelle Jolly prepared Cold Case came from a worse than midfield position to win.

Tahnee Tradition made it two wins in seven days when she took out the 1400 metre fourth race.

Having the services of Lachlan Neindorf the Peter Hardacre trained Tahnee Tradition came from a rearward position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Leading training combination of Richard and Chantelle Jolly landed their second winner for the day when Noble Magnate took out the 1250 metre fifth race.

Giving Jake Toeroek his second success for the day Noble Magnate came from well back with a withering run to score from stable mate, the Alana Livesey ridden Klabel with another stable mate Pompeii Empire, ridden by Calan Murray in third place.

The training partnership of Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle continued their good run when Turfitt took out the 1400 metre sixth race.

Guided to victory by Dom Tourneur, Turfitt came along the rails to win narrowly.

Apprentice Lachlan Neindorf brought up his second winner for the day when Dixie Whistler took out the 2250 metre seventh race.

Giving Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle consecutive winners Dixie Whistler came along the rails from a better than midfield position to win in a close finish.

A pick-up ride saw apprentice Sophie Logan guide Rialtor to a win in a 1550 metre eighth race.

Prepared at Murray Bridge by Stuart Padman Rialtor led all the way.

Apprentice Alana Livesey rode her second winner for the day when Zarace, who was resuming from a spell, won the 1000 metre final event.

Being under the care of veteran trainer Ken Sweeney Zarace came from a rearward position and powered home to take the event.
