Murray Bridge Races Review on 18th June 2023

Being once trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy and now in the care of Travis Doudle Pegasi was an impressive winner of the opening race of 1200 metres at Murray Bridge on Saturday.

Resuming from a spell the Todd Pannell guided Pegasi  led all the way.

The Gov lived up to its recent form when he took out the 1000 metre second race.

Prepared by Shayne Cahill, the apprentice Alana Livesey guided The Gov Led all the way.

The four-year-old Pudding made it two wins in succession when he took ouit the 1600 metre third race.

Having the services of Todd Pannell the Richard and Chanelle Jolly trained Pudding continued the trend of front runner to win.

Bristler landed successive wins when he took out the 1000 metre fourth race.

Coming out of the Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle stable the Lachlan Neindorf guided Bristler continued the win of front runners.

Mornington trainer Rob Blacker was well pleased with the win of Keevs in the 2500 metre fifth race.

Having the services of apprentice Jacob Opperman Keevs broke the pattern of front runners to win when he came from a midfield position.

After winning at Bordertown Annihilate made it two wins in a row when she took out the 1400 metre sixth race.

Prepared by Chris Beig and having the services of Teagan Voorham, Annihilate was seen running on strongly from a midfield position.

Richard and Chantelle Jolly landed their second winner for the day when Jack's On Ice won the 1200 metre seventh race.

Bringing up successive wins the apprentice Ben Price ridden Jack's On Ice led all the way.

Being off the scene since April 2022 Starspangled Saga returned to the track a winner in the 1000 metre final event.

Prepared by the father and daughter training combination at Woodchester the Ryan Hurdle ridden Starspangled Saga came from well back with a well-timed run.
