Warwick Farm Race 3 - Dakota Vroom:

Chris Waller looks to have uncovered another promising type in the form of the beautifully bred Dakota Vroom. An I Am Invincible filly out of Group 1 winner Catchy, the three-year-old resumed in terrific order on Wednesday when scoring with a bit up her sleeve over the 1100m.

Dakota Vroom only had the one start in her debut preparation earlier this year, making solid in-roads late to the line behind Godolphin runner and eventual Group 3 winner, Parisal.

The form around Parisal has since stuck up superbly, with six subsequent winners and a stack of placegetters coming from 21 runners through the February maiden and her two successes following. The style of Dakota Vroom's maiden victory suggests she is much better than mid-week racing and will be more than capable of playing a major role in tougher contests.

Sandown-Lakeside Race 5 - Dillian:

This horse would've hurt punters who backed him on Wednesday, with poor tactics adopted on testing ground, but the figure produced was good enough to suggest he's trending back toward his UK ratings. This son of Camelot was set a task by John Allen who elected to go back from the wide draw and clocked the fastest sectionals of the race from the 800m point to the finish.

The sectional times suggest the entire was staying the best, rather than sprinting quickly over the closing stages.

With some better tactics, expect this four-year-old to be scoring in the very near future.
