Sandown-Hillside Race 1- Rackemann

Comfortably the win of the day at Sandown and the form in his debut campaign reads very well. Second to a fast filly in Flying Temptress on debut before starting $2 against Shuffle Dancer and doing plenty of work on speed, eventually finishing second again. He had the right run here from the inside gate but still put them away easily and ran the second fastest time figure of the card which is always a good sign for a maiden. He can go through the grades now as a four-year-old and bank a few more wins.

Warwick Farm Race 1- Ceolwulf

Going to double down after putting him in the blackbook after a nice debut and he managed to duly salute stepping up to 1400m, able to sit closer from a good draw and come away for a narrow yet decisive victory. Joe Pride spoke highly of the Tavistock colt post-race, suggesting the Group 3 Ming Dynasty Quality (1400m) as a potential foray into stakes class next start, although did hint that further is going to suit. I wouldn't be surprised if he's even something like a Group 1 VRC Derby (2500m) horse with plenty of options over a trip in the Spring.
