Here's something funny I'd like to share.
When placing a bet at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday I inadvertently added another zero to my stake.
It wasn't until after the race I realised I had placed $100 @ 12's instead of $10.
To my good fortune the horse won easily and I had landed a $1100 windfall.
Today I received a nice email from the poor corporate telling me I can no longer bet fixed odds.

What the hell is the story with the 10+ second delay in live pictures?
The race is over by the time they reach the 200.
Last year the delay was more like 3 seconds.

At the current quote of $9 appeals very strongly.
On paper his 2nd up record looks very poor but judging by his 1st up run the horse looks a bit more forward in condition than in previous campaigns. The quick step up to the 2000m also leads me to believe he is fit enough to be competitive.
I expect him to fight out the finish.
