Do any of the horses that actually run in the race ever read the Market

Never Ever Ever Ever again

The only form that seems to be holding up lately is the Form from Mr Cummings and the Geelong Cup

Imports that DO NOT race here and do not have Aussie Jox on board.. 0#@!*X

Never Ever Again.... That MC was Painful in more ways than 1

Where are those retired Dwarfs with Walking Sticks from the Old Dart

Patsy and REX

Anybody connected with racing from over there should BOW their heads with absolute shame over their rides today

Well that comment of yours Helicopter Hat Genius shows why you are a class 1 dunce.

DELTA BLUES ran in Australia prior to his cup win and his winning MC jockey was Japanese.

A foolish comment.

Nom De Jeu, probably what I'll back at current odds.

Septimus, currently overs on the tote given it's record. If the $8.00 and $3.50 hold up will back it.

Mad Rush, nice form though is very short.

Think the market has it roughly right with PB the 4th best chance. Don't rate the local horses at the distance.

Nom Du Jeu for me. Just too many pluses. Mad Rush the obvious danger. Alessandro Volta and Honolulu for the multiples.

MOR - forgotten horse? Does anyone know its condition?

Forgotten horse,I can only assume it has lost at least one leg as I have to keep checking that it is in fact in the field as no-one mentions it. Last years Caulfield cup winner who has been set for this race this year and its lead up form (outside the Cox Plate) looks OK and on target to me.I think it is a genuine chance and it is proven in Australian conditions which many of the favourites are not.I only hope the price continues. Ignore this horse at your peril.( Must admit, i have had a saver on Septimus though)

Based upon pedigree 5 lines back the following should be taken into account:

Moatize
Red Lord
Yellowstone

Tiger,
Good luck with your stable.
I hope you are right with your selections except Honolulu, although it looks like you might just be talking up your stable, happy to see Ice Chariot win(great result for me, backed it at 200's, my only long range bet this year, not confident though).
I think your stable is looking a lot stronger than quite a few of those above you.
Best of luck, a mat of mine is still in the top 50, he needs Mad Rush and Barbaricus to deliver the goods.
Like you I'm heavy MC wise and hoping for Mad Rush, Profound Beauty and Zipping to salute.

One word - Boundless,

Piping_lane,

1-5-8-10-11-18-23, no particular order, based on an idea which originated years ago.

With all the overseas runners, cannot get all that enthused. Some will run well, some will be hopeless.

I've had a good spring, it's their money, so one large on Mad Rush.
